Aiguille's 2012 Summer Climbing & Challenge Camp

By Kayla Baker

Summer is a time for relaxing with family, hanging out at the beach, enjoying an ice cold lemonade by the lake, and rock climbing with friends… (wait, did you say rock climbing? Yes, that’s right! It’s that time of year again for Aiguille Rock Climbing Center’s 2012 Summer Climbing & Challenge Camp!
This summer, camp will be starting on Monday, June 4, 2012 and is open to kids from ages 6 - 16 years old. Aiguille offers full or half days to best fit your schedule, as well as discounts for siblings and additional camp weeks.

Loaded with tons of climbing, team building games, and an all around confidence-boosting experience, Aiguille is the place for you this summer! And let’s not forget about the rappelling, technique classes, slack-lining, relay races, pizza parties, scavenger hunts, fun atmosphere, new friends, and more!

At Aiguille, kids learn to not only set goals for themselves, but also to push themselves in order to reach these goals. Counselors provide a warm and fun atmosphere and motivate campers to reach their goals every week. Whether it is climbing, being a good friend to someone, or keeping your balance on slack line, every goal is important!

Not only is climbing a great sport for your body, but it also strengthens you as a person, allowing kids to see that, as long as they put their mind to it, they can do more than they may think they can. For more information on our Summer Break Camp or for registration forms, please visit our website, www.ClimbOrlando.com. See you at camp!

  1. Rock climbing is full of fitness, adventure, fun and adrenaline. Many people consider it as a dangerous activity, but the truth is that with proper instruction, practice and equipment, it is a safe sport.
