Here's an Athlete!

Richard Simpson is one heck of an athlete. In 2005 the Englishman sent the famous Action Directe (5.14d), first sent by Wolfgang Gullich and the first in the world of this grade.

Did he go on to climb other world class routes? Nope... He quit climbing and started training as a runner. His goal was to beat the benchmark 4-minute mile. Soon after he ran a 3.58.
Currently, he is trying to get into the Olympics in under 72 kg in boxing. He has won all of the 15 fights that he has done.

What sport will he choose to conquer next?

Watch the video of his training and ascent of Action Directe here.
